Pilates Classes in Macclesfield – Group Pilates

Pilates is the original rehabilitative method, developed by Joseph Pilates during the second world war to rehabilitate soldiers.

By definition, Pilates is the sequencing of exercises, into a flow of continuous exercise, working through
the entire body. Routines should encompass and promote strength, stability and flexibility, which stem from the core.

Benefits of this method is to improve posture and balance. Pilates targets the “powerhouse” muscles, which include the glutes, hips, pelvic floor, and lower back.

Pilates Method encourages deep, conscious breathing and is widely accepted as a form of rehabilitation, rehabilitation and sports performance.

  • First Pilates session is FREE
  • All Pilates sessions must be booked in advance
  • Single sessions are £10 per session
  • Pre-paid sessions expire after 15 weeks
  • Classes are 45 minutes in duration
  • Please bring your own Pilates mat
